This was a passion project inspired by pop art, community, fun and modernized retro fonts.
Frank’s would be located on Commercial Drive in Vancouver. Frank’s target audience would be the trendy middle class, ages between 18-40. When researching competition I saw many simple designs with neutral colours. “Frank’s” was made to stand out, to bring something unique to the market, an identity that reflected the creamery’s fun flavours. I wanted to create a community around the idea of cultivating friendship through flavour, a place where consumers felt welcomed. Frank’s is something different, a departure from ice-cream shops today.
